A member of a farming group Improving Crops in the Northern Frontier. Makes his appearance in the novel Pilgrimage of the Sacred and the Profane.

Biography[]
His job is improving crops on the Frontier. He developed a new crop that would bear fruit even in cold areas without water, the farm group selected the Desert of No Return to stage their experiments some five years ago, but Immortal Bandits killed everyone except Lance. The bandits brought Lance back to their lair and made him join them in their ranks for their attacks the next five years.
He tries to escape and runs into the group. He is saved by them and joins them instead. He takes a liking to Tae and ends up in a bare Knuckle Brawl with Clay Bullow over her. They both give an extended battle with extensive injury but Lance comes out on top Koing the proud Bullow. One of the tentacles from the creature in the Moving Forest's river pierces his chest, and he dies without ever getting to see the sea.
Powers and Abilities[]
Highly skilled fighter, he beats one of the top fighters in the Outer Frontier Clay Bullow.He's a highly skilled farmer and is in the business of developing stronger crops across the Frontier.
